Brand: CHOEZON Price level Price level 4 of 4
8.7/10ExcellentComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Comparison winner: 130 lb rated load, three platforms for 1–3 monitors, plus a drawer and phone slot.
Ideal for
Multi-monitor setups and heavy loads on a wide desk
The CHOEZON is the only stand in the set built around more than one screen. A main platform of 15 × 9.8 inches is joined by two side platforms of 10.2 × 7.5 inches, and the three sections can be arranged for one to three monitors. Its stated 130 lb (59 kg) rated load is roughly three times the 44 lb that most rivals list. The surface is bamboo, the legs lock with a twist, and a drawer with three possible positions and a 4.1 inch phone slot are built in. The platforms sit at fixed heights, 4.7 inches for the main one and 5.1 inches for the sides, so there are no steps to fine-tune the eye line. The listing gives no weight, and it sits in the top price class.
Pros
- 130 lb rated load, the highest in the set
- Main platform plus two sides for 1–3 monitors
- Drawer with 3 positions and a 4.1 in phone slot
- Bamboo build with twist-lock legs
Cons
- Top price class

8.2/10ExcellentComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Dual-screen wooden riser that expands from 31.5 to 42.5 in, with three compartments and a phone slot.
Ideal for
Two-monitor desks that need flexible angles and open storage
The BONTEC is a wooden riser for two monitors. Its width expands from 31.5 to 42.5 inches, and the swivel side shelves can be arranged straight, angled or in a corner layout, which suits an L-shaped desk or an angled dual setup. The organizer part offers three open compartments for items such as a keyboard, notebooks or a docking station, and the listing adds a phone slot and a cable opening. The lacquered white wood comes with non-slip pads to protect the desk, and the maker calls assembly easy. At 7.3 lb (3.3 kg) it is one of only three stands with a listed weight. The rated load is 44 lb, with no note on how it is split between the shelves, and no lift height is given.
Pros
- Expands from 31.5 to 42.5 in for two monitors
- Swivel side shelves: straight, angled or corner
- Three compartments, phone slot, cable opening
- Lacquered wood with non-slip pads
Cons

Brand: Canyora Price level Price level 2 of 4
7.9/10Very goodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Best-value pick: a 2-piece metal set with 3 height steps, 150 vent holes and a 44 lb rated load.
Ideal for
Single screens or laptops, with a second riser in the box
The Canyora is listed as a two-piece set. Each riser has a 14.6 × 9.3 inch shelf described as metal, a polished finish and a rated load of 44 lb. Buttons on the legs switch between three heights, 4.13, 4.92 and 5.7 inches. The listing counts 150 ventilation holes, which helps if a laptop runs warm on the shelf, and notes that two units can be used together for twice the storage space underneath. The legs screw on without tools, and the maker puts assembly at under 30 seconds. It also names floor and carpet use, not only the desk. The data gives no weight and no non-slip details, and the highest setting of 5.7 inches falls short of the 6.1 inches on the WALI and ECOLOVI.
Pros
- Three height steps, 4.13–5.7 in, set by leg buttons
- 150 vent holes for airflow
- Two risers in the set
- Legs screw on without tools
Cons
- Top setting of 5.7 in is lower than WALI or ECOLOVI

Brand: ECOLOVI Price level Price level 1 of 4
7.7/10Very goodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Budget pick: wooden top, four height steps from 4.0 to 6.1 in and a 12.5 × 7 in space underneath.
Ideal for
Single-monitor desks that want natural wood and fine height control
The ECOLOVI offers the finest height control in the set: four settings of 4.0, 4.8, 5.5 and 6.1 inches, changed with buttons on the legs. The wooden top measures 14.6 × 9.1 inches and carries a stated 44 lb (20 kg), the same as most rivals. Underneath, the listing gives a 12.5 × 7 inch storage area for a keyboard or notebooks. The natural finish and brown wood give it a warmer look than the plastic and metal stands, and the entry price class makes it the lowest-cost route to a wooden riser in this comparison. The data does not say what kind of wood it is, whether the feet are non-slip, how heavy the stand is or how it goes together, and it has no drawer or phone slot.
Pros
- Four height steps from 4.0 to 6.1 in, set by leg buttons
- 12.5 × 7 in storage area underneath
- Wooden top with natural finish
- 44 lb (20 kg) rated load in the entry price class

7.6/10Very goodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Powder-coated steel stand with a drawer and two pen holders; listed as rust, scratch and slip resistant.
Ideal for
Desks that want a steel stand with a built-in organizer
The OPNICE is a two-tier stand of carbon steel with a powder-coated finish. It measures 20.5 × 9.5 inches and is 6.3 inches tall overall, a wider top than the 14.6 inch single platforms. The listing gives a 44 lb rated load and describes the stand as rust resistant, scratchproof and slip resistant, the longest list of protection claims in the set. A drawer and two hanging pen holders keep stationery and small items close by. The special features line includes the word adjustable, but the data gives no height steps, weight or assembly details, so check the listing before counting on a lift range. It shares the entry price class with the WALI and ECOLOVI.
Pros
- Powder-coated carbon steel construction

Rank 6: WALI Computer Monitor Stand for Desk

7.5/10Very goodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Plastic riser with 3 height steps up to 6.1 in, a vented shelf and rubber pads, in the entry price class.
Ideal for
Single screens, laptops or printers where a simple riser is enough
The WALI is a plain plastic riser with a 14.6 × 9.3 inch shelf and a stated maximum load of 44 lb (20 kg). Three height settings, 4.5, 5.3 and 6.1 inches, raise the screen; the top setting matches the ECOLOVI for the highest lift in the set. Vent holes in the shelf let heat escape from a laptop or printer, rubber pads grip the desk, and the legs go together without tools. The space under the shelf takes a keyboard or other desk items. Only two of the 8 stands are plastic, the WALI and the Amazon Basics; the other six use metal, wood or bamboo. The data lists no drawer, phone slot, weight or warranty.
Pros
- Heights of 4.5, 5.3 and 6.1 in
- Vented shelf and rubber pads
- Assembly without tools
- 44 lb (20 kg) rated load in the entry price class

Rank 7: gianotter Dual Monitor Stand Riser with Drawer
Brand: Gianotter Price level Price level 3 of 4
7.4/10Very goodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026A 40.6 in metal shelf for two screens with a drawer and pen holders, but fixed height and no load rating.
Ideal for
Two-screen desks that want a ready-to-use metal shelf with a drawer
The gianotter is a long, low metal shelf. It measures 40.6 × 9.3 inches and stands 4.3 inches tall, wide enough for two monitors side by side. The metal is powder coated and the unit weighs 6.8 lb (3.08 kg). A drawer and two magnetic pen holders are part of the design, and the listing says it needs no assembly, so it can go straight onto the desk. That convenience comes with gaps in the data: no rated load is stated, and the lift is a single fixed 4.3 inches. It sits in the upper-middle price class, the same as the BONTEC, which does list a 44 lb rating, an expandable width and swivel shelves, though not a lift height.
Pros
- 40.6 in shelf for two monitors
- Powder-coated metal build

- No assembly needed

6.5/10GoodComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on testAs of 10/2026Light ABS riser with three stackable heights of 2.87–4.8 in, but the lowest stated rated load in the set.
Ideal for
Laptops and light monitors that need a small lift
The Amazon Basics riser is the most modest stand here. It weighs 2.6 lb, the lightest of the three stands that list a weight, is made of ABS plastic and offers three stackable height settings of 2.87, 4.2 and 4.8 inches using detachable legs. The tapered top measures about 11.6 × 11 inches, and non-skid feet hold it on flat surfaces. The rated load is 22 lb (10 kg), half of what most rivals state, and the listing says it suits monitors, laptops and small office equipment within that range and that the lightweight structure differs from solid wood or metal. The product name mentions storage, but the data gives no storage dimensions. It sits in the lower-middle price class, one step above the entry-class WALI, ECOLOVI and OPNICE.
Pros
- Lightest of the three stands that list a weight
- Three stackable heights, 2.87–4.8 in
- Non-skid feet
Cons
- Lowest rated load: 22 lb (10 kg)
- Top setting of 4.8 in is the lowest of the adjustable stands

How the ranking works
Sorted by our comparison score, which combines these weighted criteria:
- Load capacity & lift 35% Rated load, platform size and lift height show whether a stand carries your screens and puts them at a comfortable eye level.
- Features & storage 25% Height steps, drawers, phone slots, cable openings and vents decide how much more than a raised shelf you get.
- Build & materials 20% Material, finish and non-slip protection point to stability; a stand that slides or scratches the desk fails at its one job.
- Setup & handling 20% Assembly effort, weight and footprint decide how quickly the stand is ready and how much desk it takes.

Buying guide: what to look for in monitor stands
What to look for in a monitor stand or riser
A monitor stand lifts the screen toward eye level and frees the desk space underneath. The 8 stands compared here fall into two groups: single-platform risers for one monitor or a laptop, and wide shelves built for two or three screens. They run from a 2.6 lb ABS riser to a bamboo set rated for 130 lb. The sections below explain which figures matter and what values this set offers. If you are unsure whether a stand is enough, our answer on choosing a monitor arm or monitor stand compares the two.
Rated load
The rated load is the weight a stand is meant to carry. Add up the monitor and anything else that will share the platform, such as a laptop or a printer, and stay below the figure. Five of the 8 stands list 44 lb: BONTEC, Canyora, ECOLOVI, OPNICE and WALI. CHOEZON states 130 lb (59 kg), Amazon Basics 22 lb (10 kg), and gianotter gives no rating at all. On two-screen stands the listing should say whether the figure applies per shelf or to the whole stand; BONTEC states 44 lb without saying which.
Lift height and eye level
Ergonomic guidance generally puts the top edge of the screen at or slightly below eye level, so the right lift depends on your chair, desk and monitor. Four stands list height steps: Amazon Basics 2.87, 4.2 and 4.8 inches; Canyora 4.13, 4.92 and 5.7 inches; WALI 4.5, 5.3 and 6.1 inches; and ECOLOVI 4.0, 4.8, 5.5 and 6.1 inches. The Canyora and ECOLOVI change height with leg buttons. The others are fixed or list no steps: gianotter is 4.3 inches tall, CHOEZON 4.7 inches on the main platform and 5.1 inches on the sides, and OPNICE 6.3 inches overall. BONTEC gives no height. To find your number, stack books under the screen until it feels right, then measure the stack.
Platform size and number of screens
Check the top surface against the foot of your monitor, not just the screen size. The one-piece tops in this set measure 14.6 × 9.3 inches (WALI, Canyora), 14.6 × 9.1 inches (ECOLOVI), 20.5 × 9.5 inches (OPNICE) and about 11.6 × 11 inches (Amazon Basics, tapered toward the sides). The multi-screen options are wider: gianotter is 40.6 inches long, BONTEC expands from 31.5 to 42.5 inches, and CHOEZON combines a 15 × 9.8 inch main platform with two 10.2 × 7.5 inch side platforms. A compact foot suits a small top; a wide or splayed foot needs a deep, flat surface.
Material and stability
Two stands are plastic (WALI and the ABS Amazon Basics), three are metal (gianotter, OPNICE and the Canyora shelf), two are wood (BONTEC and ECOLOVI) and one is bamboo (CHOEZON). Material alone says little; the rated load and the grip on the desk matter more. Non-slip features are listed for WALI (rubber pads), BONTEC (non-slip pads), OPNICE (slip resistant) and Amazon Basics (non-skid feet), but not for the other four. Powder coating appears on the gianotter and OPNICE, lacquer on the BONTEC, and only OPNICE lists rust and scratch resistance.
Storage and extras
Drawers appear on the CHOEZON, gianotter and OPNICE, pen holders on the gianotter and OPNICE, a phone slot on the CHOEZON and BONTEC, and a cable opening on the BONTEC, which also has three open compartments. WALI and Canyora add ventilation holes, 150 of them on the Canyora, which helps if a laptop or printer sits on the shelf. ECOLOVI lists a 12.5 × 7 inch space underneath. The most feature-rich stands sit in the upper price classes (CHOEZON, BONTEC, gianotter); OPNICE is the exception, with a drawer and pen holders in the entry class.
Assembly and weight
The gianotter needs no assembly. WALI and Canyora go together without tools, the Canyora in under 30 seconds by its listing, CHOEZON uses twist-lock legs, and BONTEC is described as easy to assemble. The other stands give no assembly details. Weight is listed for only three: Amazon Basics 2.6 lb, gianotter 6.8 lb (3.08 kg) and BONTEC 7.3 lb (3.3 kg).
Which stand suits which setup?
- Three monitors or heavy gear: the CHOEZON has the highest rated load and three platforms.
- Two monitors, flexible layout: the BONTEC expands to 42.5 inches and its side shelves swivel.
- Two monitors, ready to use: the gianotter needs no assembly but lists no load rating.
- Single screen, best value: the Canyora has three height steps and comes as a two-piece set.
- Entry class with the most height choices: the ECOLOVI has four steps up to 6.1 inches.
- Metal with a built-in organizer: the OPNICE adds a drawer and two pen holders to a powder-coated steel frame.
- Plain plastic with the highest lift: the WALI reaches 6.1 inches and has a vented shelf.
- Light loads and a small lift: the Amazon Basics, with a 22 lb rating and up to 4.8 inches.
- Reach or tilt, not just height: a stand only raises the screen, so if you want to pull it closer or tilt it, see monitor arms compared.
Common mistakes when buying
- Judging by platform size only: the monitor’s foot has to sit fully on the top with some margin, so measure its width and depth.
- Reading “adjustable” as height steps: the OPNICE lists the word without any figures, and on the CHOEZON it refers to movable platforms, not to height.
- Mixing up units: listings quote pounds, kilograms or both. Convert before comparing a 10 kg rating with a 44 lb one.
- Ignoring the lowest rating: the Amazon Basics is rated for half of what most rivals list, so add up everything that will sit on it.
- Skipping missing data: the gianotter lists no load and the BONTEC no height. A gap in the listing is a question to settle before ordering.
Setup and care tips
Place the stand on a flat, clear part of the desk and center the monitor’s foot over the platform so the weight is spread evenly. Wipe plastic, metal and lacquered surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and keep wood and bamboo away from standing water, and follow the maker’s guidance if one comes with the stand. A raised screen also changes where a clip-on lamp sits, which is why our comparison of monitor light bars is a natural next read. If a small printer shares the desk, the portable thermal printers are compared separately. The desk upgrade checklist walks through the whole setup, and the computer and office category collects more desk and office gear.
How we compared
This ranking is a desk review of data: manufacturer specifications, listing details, delivery contents and price class. Of 16 stands and risers considered, we selected 8 for this comparison. Each is scored on four criteria relative to the other seven – load capacity and lift (35%), features and storage (25%), build and materials (20%), setup and handling (20%) – and the weighted result is a score out of 10. Gaps in the data are not guessed; where a missing figure matters, it lowers the rating. The full scoring method is written up in detail.
Frequently asked questions
How high should a monitor stand raise my screen?
There is no single height. Sit upright, raise the screen on a stack of books until its top edge sits at or slightly below eye level, then measure the stack. Among the stands here that list height steps, the lift runs from 2.87 inches (Amazon Basics) to 6.1 inches (WALI and ECOLOVI). The ECOLOVI offers four settings, the most of any stand in this comparison, which makes small corrections easier.
Can I put a laptop or printer on a monitor stand?
Often yes, within the rated load. The WALI, ECOLOVI and BONTEC listings all name laptops and printers, and the ECOLOVI also mentions game consoles. Check that the combined weight stays under the rating – 44 lb on most stands, 22 lb on the Amazon Basics – and that the top is deep enough. Warm devices benefit from airflow: the WALI has vent holes and the Canyora lists 150.
Is a dual-monitor stand better than two single risers?
It depends on the desk. A dual shelf such as the gianotter (40.6 inches) or the BONTEC (31.5–42.5 inches) holds both screens at one height in a single piece, and the BONTEC’s swivel sides allow angled layouts. Two single risers, such as the Canyora’s two-piece set with three height steps, let each screen sit at its own height and position, which helps when the monitors differ in size.
Will a monitor stand slip or scratch my desk?
Four listings mention grip: WALI has rubber pads, BONTEC non-slip pads, OPNICE a slip-resistant build and Amazon Basics non-skid feet. CHOEZON, Canyora, ECOLOVI and gianotter list nothing, so look at the feet when the stand arrives and add self-adhesive felt or rubber pads if they are bare.
Will a stand fit an ultrawide or large monitor?
The listings give platform sizes but no monitor-size or curvature limits, so the foot of your monitor is what to measure. The widest tops are the gianotter (40.6 inches), BONTEC (31.5–42.5 inches) and OPNICE (20.5 inches); the rest are 15 inches or narrower. Compare your monitor’s foot width and depth with those figures, and its weight with the rated load.
What is this ranking based on?
We don’t carry out lab tests, and we haven’t used these stands ourselves. The ranking rests on manufacturer specifications, listing details, delivery contents and price class, scored relative to the other models in this comparison with the weights shown above the table. Amazon customer ratings and reviews play no part. Where a listing gives no figure, such as the gianotter’s load rating, we don’t guess, and the model loses points.
