Touchless and Manual Soap Dispensers Compared: 8 Models for 2026

Sensor models and glass pumps, from 8.5 to 18 fl oz

  • 16models shortlisted
  • 8models compared
  • 4weighted criteria

A dial with 15 dose settings, from 0.4 to 2.5 ml, carries the Aunmaon to first place among these 8 soap dispensers, with 8.3 out of 10. Four of the eight are touchless models with a sensor; the other four are manual pumps, three of them glass. KANBOSH is the premium pick and the only one that lists a warranty. The clear JASAI takes the value award for 18 fl oz of glass and a stainless steel pump in the entry price class. Scores come from manufacturer specifications and cover four areas: dispensing performance, features, build and handling. The ranking helps you decide between a sensor and a plain pump.

Key takeaways

  • Aunmaon wins (8.3): a 15-level dial sets 0.4 to 2.5 ml per dispense, thick dish soap goes in undiluted, a wall-mount kit is included.
  • Only KANBOSH names a warranty term (1 year). Four models are touchless, four are manual pumps holding 8.5 to 18 fl oz.
  • Gaps to check: Aunmaon lists no tank size, BRMUEIX no battery capacity, and the clear JASAI’s height reads 7 and 7.7 inches.

  1. Comparison winnerComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on test

Rank 1: Aunmaon Touchless Soap Dispenser (15-Level)

Brand: Aunmaon Price level Price level 3 of 4

Winner: 15-level dose dial, thick-soap compatible, level window and wall-mount kit; no tank size is listed.

    Ideal for

Sinks where dish soap is the main fill and the dose should be set once

Dose control is where the Aunmaon pulls ahead. A dial on top steps through 15 settings, from 0.4 to 2.5 ml per dispense, and the amount stays the same once you set it. The maker says thick dish soap goes in undiluted, and an anti-drip nozzle limits mess between uses. Refilling goes through a wide opening, and a clear window shows how much is left. Three AA cells sit high in the body, away from splashes, and a wall-mount kit is included. At 4 by 2.8 by 7.3 inches it is slim. The catch is missing data: no tank size, splash rating or warranty is given, so refill intervals are a guess. It belongs to the upper-middle price class.

    Pros

    • 15-level dial, 0.4 to 2.5 ml per dispense
    • Takes thick dish soap undiluted
    • Wall-mount kit and clear level window

    Cons

    • No tank size, splash rating or warranty stated

  2. Premium pickComparison score · data-based comparison, no hands-on test

Rank 2: KANBOSH Automatic Soap Dispenser (1800 mAh Rechargeable)

Brand: KANBOSH Price level Price level 3 of 4

Premium pick: IPX5, the only listed warranty (1 year) and a rechargeable 1800 mAh battery with Type-C.

    Ideal for

Households that want a rechargeable, splash-rated unit with a warranty

Support and build carry the KANBOSH to second place. It is the only dispenser here with a warranty term (one year), and it shares the IPX5 splash rating with the BRMUEIX. The built-in 1800 mAh battery charges over Type-C, and the maker puts a full charge at about 2 to 3 hours from a 5 V/1 A input. Four dose levels and a 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) reservoir cover ordinary handwashing. The sensor only reads a hand within 0 to 1.57 inches (40 mm), so you have to hold it close. No wall mount is mentioned, and it is the one model in the top price class.

    Pros

    • 1-year warranty, the only one listed
    • 1800 mAh battery with Type-C charging
    • IPX5 splash rating
    • 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) tank, 4 dose levels

  3. Rank 3: PZOTRUF Automatic Soap Dispenser

Brand: PZOTRUF Price level Price level 4 of 4

Largest listed sensor-model tank at 17 fl oz (500 ml), five dose levels and a brushed aluminum body on 4 AA cells.

    Ideal for

Kitchens that go through a lot of dish soap and can spare the counter space

Capacity is the PZOTRUF’s main argument: 17 fl oz (500 ml), the largest tank listed among the sensor models. Five output levels are set with plus and minus buttons, and the sensor picks up a hand within 2.36 inches. The body is brushed aluminum with an IPX4 splash rating, and a non-slip base with a rubber sealing ring holds it in place. Power comes from four AA alkaline batteries; they are not in the box. The description recommends a hand or a light-colored object under the sensor and says to clean the nozzle promptly if no soap comes out. At 6.37 by 3.34 inches the footprint is wider than the Aunmaon’s 4 by 2.8. Upper-middle price class.

    Pros

    • 17 fl oz (500 ml) tank
    • 5 dose levels on +/- buttons
    • Aluminum body, rubber-sealed non-slip base

    Cons

  4. Rank 4: BRMUEIX Automatic Touchless Soap Dispenser

Brand: BRMUEIX Price level Price level 4 of 4

Fastest stated dispense (0.25 s), four levels, IPX5 and wall mounting; the battery size is not given.

    Ideal for

Small spaces that want a wall-mounted unit with quick delivery

Speed is the one thing only the BRMUEIX states: soap in 0.25 seconds, with an audible pump sound the description calls normal. The sensor reaches 1.18 to 2.36 inches, and four output levels are available. A built-in battery charges over USB, but its capacity is not given, so run time is unknown. IPX5 sounds reassuring. Yet the description still says to keep the sensor and charging port dry. It holds 13 fl oz (380 ml), stands on the counter or mounts on the wall, and is made of ABS plastic. Its listed size, 6.8 by 3.2 by 1.8 inches, has an odd height, so check the photos before measuring a space. Upper-middle price class.

    Pros

    • Dispenses in 0.25 s
    • Countertop or wall mounting

Rank 5: JASAI 18 oz Clear Glass Soap Dispenser (Stainless Pump)

Brand: JASAI Price level Price level 2 of 4

Value pick: 18 fl oz glass bottle with a 304 stainless pump in the entry price class; a plain pump.

    Ideal for

Bathrooms and kitchens that want a simple, refillable glass pump

Three facts earn the clear JASAI the value award: the entry price class, 18 fl oz of capacity and a pump in 304 stainless steel. The description calls that pump rust proof. The body is glass, a blank wooden tag can be labeled, and the description adds dishwasher safe without saying whether the pump is included. There is no sensor, no dose control and no wall mount; pressing the pump is all it does. Its size figures disagree. The specification table says 3.52 inches square and 7 tall, while the text gives 3.2 inches across and 7.7 tall. Plan the space with the larger numbers.

    Pros

    • 18 fl oz glass body
    • 304 stainless steel pump
    • Described as dishwasher safe

  6. Rank 6: JASAI 18 oz Green Glass Soap Dispenser (Gold Pump)

Brand: JASAI Price level Price level 2 of 4

Same 18 fl oz as the clear JASAI, with embossed green glass and a gold-finish steel pump, one price class higher.

    Ideal for

Bathrooms where the dispenser is part of the decor

Same capacity as the clear JASAI, 18 fl oz (532 ml), in a different look: thick green glass with a diamond-cut, embossed pattern and a pump in gold-finish 304 stainless steel. The description calls it heavy, but no weight is listed. It is described as dishwasher safe and measures 3.2 by 3.2 by 7 inches. The lower-middle price class sits one step above the clear model, so the extra money buys a finish, not a function. Like its sibling it is a plain manual pump, and no warranty term is given.

    Pros

    • 18 fl oz thick glass
    • Gold-finish 304 stainless steel pump
    • Described as dishwasher safe

    Cons

  7. Rank 7: Topsky 13.5 oz Striped Glass Soap Dispenser

Brand: Topsky Price level Price level 2 of 4

Amber striped glass pump with a 400 ml bottle that unscrews to refill; smaller than either JASAI.

    Ideal for

Guest bathrooms where a slim glass bottle fits better than a big one

The Topsky is a compact glass pump: 2.9 inches across, 7.4 inches (18.7 cm) tall and 8 ounces, the same weight as the YAUKPH. The bottle is one piece of amber striped glass, and the description says it does not leak. Unscrewing the pump head opens the bottle for filling and rinsing. Capacity is 400 ml, written as 13.5 oz in the title and 13 oz in the text. Two flags are worth a look. The specification table says plastic free, yet the title names a black plastic pump. Either JASAI also holds more (18 against 13 fl oz), and the Topsky sits one price class above the clear one.

    Pros

    • One-piece glass body, described as leak-free
    • Pump head unscrews for filling and rinsing
    • 8 oz, 2.9 in wide

    Cons

    • Holds less than either JASAI (13 vs 18 fl oz)

  8. Rank 8: YAUKPH Small Matte Soap Dispenser

Brand: YAUKPH Price level Price level 1 of 4

Compact 8.5 fl oz ABS pump in matte black: the smallest capacity of the eight, with no extras.

    Ideal for

Small vanities and spots where a glass bottle could break

Smallest of the eight, the YAUKPH holds 8.5 fl oz in a round ABS body, 2.71 inches wide and 6.88 tall, weighing 8 ounces. Plastic is its argument: the maker promises a breakage-resistant body, a rust-proof pump head and a striped anti-slip surface. Everything else is thin. Capacity is under half of a JASAI’s, there is no dose control or extra, and no warranty term appears in the data. Matte black, in the entry class.

    Pros

    • Smallest footprint, 2.71 in wide
    • ABS body, breakage-resistant per the maker
    • Entry price class

    Cons

    • Only 8.5 fl oz, under half of a JASAI

Buying guide: what to look for in soap dispensers

What matters when you choose soap dispensers?

Eight products, two designs. Aunmaon, KANBOSH, PZOTRUF and BRMUEIX read your hand with an infrared sensor. The two JASAI models, Topsky and YAUKPH are manual pumps. Everything below comes from the makers’ own figures, and plenty of figures are missing, so the gaps are named where they matter.

Touchless or manual pump

A sensor spares you from touching the pump with wet or greasy hands. It also needs power, and the four sensor models sit in the upper-middle and top price classes, while the four pumps are in the entry and lower-middle classes. A pump needs no power at all. For a guest bathroom the glass options give up little. At a kitchen sink where hands are often messy, the sensor earns its keep.

Capacity, size and refilling

Capacity runs from 8.5 fl oz on the YAUKPH to 18 fl oz on both JASAI pumps. Among the sensor models, the PZOTRUF holds 17 fl oz (500 ml), the KANBOSH 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) and the BRMUEIX 13 fl oz (380 ml). The Aunmaon gives no tank size: the 2.5 ml in its specification table is the largest dose, not a reservoir. The YAUKPH holds less than half of what a JASAI does, which means more trips with the refill bottle. Refills usually come from a larger bottle, and the empty jugs need sorting; dual-compartment recycling bins are one way to handle that.

Refilling is easier on some models. The Topsky’s pump head unscrews, the Aunmaon and the PZOTRUF have wide openings, and the Aunmaon adds a clear window that shows the level. Footprints matter at the sink too. The glass pumps are 2.9 to 3.52 inches across, and the PZOTRUF needs 6.37 by 3.34 inches, a strip of counter you may also want for dish drying racks compared on a shared sink.

Dose control and soap type

Dose control is where the sensor models differ most. The Aunmaon’s dial sets 0.4 to 2.5 ml per dispense in 15 steps, the PZOTRUF offers 5 levels on plus and minus buttons, and the KANBOSH and BRMUEIX offer 4 each. Only the Aunmaon puts a volume on its steps. No manual pump states a dose at all, because the amount follows the pump stroke.

The Aunmaon says it takes thick dish soap undiluted. The PZOTRUF and BRMUEIX say they work with most liquid soaps, and the YAUKPH, the green JASAI and the Topsky name dish soap among the liquids they can hold. The KANBOSH names no soap type.

Sensor reach, power and splash protection

Reach is short wherever a number is given: 0 to 1.57 inches (40 mm) on the KANBOSH, 1.18 to 2.36 inches on the BRMUEIX and 0 to 2.36 inches on the PZOTRUF. The Aunmaon gives no range. Power splits three ways. The Aunmaon takes 3 AA cells and the PZOTRUF 4 AA alkaline cells, while the other two have rechargeable batteries. The KANBOSH lists 1800 mAh and Type-C charging, about 2 to 3 hours from a 5 V/1 A source; the BRMUEIX gives no capacity.

Splash ratings are IPX5 on the KANBOSH and BRMUEIX, IPX4 on the PZOTRUF and none on the rest. Even so, the BRMUEIX description asks you to keep its sensor and charging port dry.

Materials and warranty

The two JASAI models are glass with a 304 stainless steel pump, and the Topsky pairs glass with a black plastic pump. The PZOTRUF is brushed aluminum, the BRMUEIX and YAUKPH are ABS plastic and the Aunmaon is BPA-free plastic. The KANBOSH lists no body material. Only the KANBOSH lists a warranty, one year; the other seven give none.

Which soap dispenser fits which sink?

  • For dish soap at a kitchen sink, take the Aunmaon for its dose dial and thick-soap claim, or the PZOTRUF when 17 fl oz matters more than fine control.
  • Wall mounting frees the counter: the Aunmaon ships with a kit, and the BRMUEIX is listed for counter or wall.
  • A rechargeable unit with the only listed warranty is the KANBOSH, at the top price class.
  • With no power to manage, the clear JASAI is the entry-class choice, the green JASAI adds embossed glass and a gold-finish pump, and the Topsky is the slimmer 13 fl oz bottle.
  • The YAUKPH suits a small vanity where space is tight and plastic is safer than glass.

Soap is one of several small sink-side fixes, and a checklist of small kitchen fixes covers the rest of the kitchen, beginning with dishes. For a bathroom shelf, scent is the other small decision, and aroma diffusers compared lays out the options; the wider range sits in the home and living comparisons.

Common mistakes when buying a soap dispenser

  • Trusting one size line. The clear JASAI gives 3.52 inches square and 7 tall in its table but 3.2 across and 7.7 tall in its text, and the BRMUEIX lists a height of only 1.8 inches. Use the larger figure and look at the photos.
  • Reading IPX5 as waterproof. It describes splashes, and one IPX5 maker still says to keep the sensor and charging port dry.
  • Forgetting the power. The PZOTRUF does not include its four cells, and the Aunmaon’s page does not say whether its three are in the box.
  • Judging tank size by the title. The Topsky’s title says 13.5 oz and its text 13 oz, and the Aunmaon names no tank at all.
  • Taking material labels literally. The Topsky’s table says plastic free while its title lists a black plastic pump.
  • Skipping the warranty line. Only the KANBOSH has a term, and the other seven leave it blank.

Care tips for pumps and sensors

Dried soap blocks a nozzle first. Rinse the nozzle with warm water now and then, and on the PZOTRUF clean it right away if nothing comes out, as its description advises. Both JASAI bottles are described as dishwasher safe, and the Topsky’s pump head unscrews for rinsing. Wipe the sensor window, and keep charging ports dry.

How we compared the eight soap dispensers

Every figure above is taken from the makers’ pages: sizes, tank volumes, sensor ranges, battery data, splash ratings and the price class. Nobody here filled, mounted or ran these dispensers. The 8 models came out of 16 candidates, and each one was marked from 0 to 10 per criterion relative to the rest. Dispensing performance is worth the most, 35%. Features and versatility add 25%, and build quality and handling split the remaining 40% evenly. Where a figure is absent, as with the Aunmaon’s tank size or the BRMUEIX’s battery capacity, the model gets no credit for it. The scoring method and weights are laid out in full on the methodology page.

Frequently asked questions

Is a touchless soap dispenser better than a pump?

Better for messy hands, not for every sink. A sensor lets you dispense without touching anything, and four of these eight offer it. The price is power and money: batteries or a charger, a sensor range of 2.36 inches at most where one is given, and upper-middle or top price classes. A manual glass pump has nothing to recharge and sits in the entry or lower-middle class. Pick the sensor where wet or greasy hands are routine.

How much soap comes out per dispense?

Only the Aunmaon gives a figure: 0.4 to 2.5 ml across its 15 dial settings. The KANBOSH and BRMUEIX list 4 levels each and the PZOTRUF 5, all without a volume. Manual pumps give no dose either, because the amount follows the pump stroke. To estimate how long a tank lasts you need both a dose and a tank size, and no model in this set gives both.

Can a soap dispenser take thick dish soap?

The Aunmaon is the only one that says thick dish soap works straight from the bottle, without dilution. The PZOTRUF and BRMUEIX say they handle most liquid soaps, and the YAUKPH, the green JASAI and the Topsky name dish soap among the liquids they can hold. The KANBOSH names no soap type. If nothing comes out, the PZOTRUF description advises cleaning the nozzle promptly.

Are rechargeable or battery-powered dispensers easier to live with?

Each asks for something. The KANBOSH’s 1800 mAh battery charges over Type-C in about 2 to 3 hours and the BRMUEIX charges over USB, so both need a free port and a cable. The Aunmaon takes 3 AA cells and the PZOTRUF 4 AA alkaline cells (not included), so spares must be on hand. The BRMUEIX gives no battery capacity.

Glass or plastic: which body lasts longer?

The data cannot rank them. Glass appears on the two JASAI models and the Topsky, plastic or ABS on the Aunmaon, BRMUEIX and YAUKPH, aluminum on the PZOTRUF. The YAUKPH maker promises a breakage-resistant body, and the JASAI pumps are 304 stainless steel, while the Topsky pump is plastic. No listing gives a drop or lifetime rating. Match the material to the spot: plastic where glass could break, glass where looks matter.

Did you use these soap dispensers yourselves?

No. Not one of the eight was filled, mounted or run by us, and no lab ever measured them for this page. Scores are built from the makers’ specifications and descriptions, the contents of each box and the price class. Every model gets a mark from 0 to 10 per criterion, judged against the other seven in the set. Anything missing counts for nothing instead of being guessed.
